Rental and Event Planning Disclaimer

At Sophisticated Occasions, we are committed to creating unforgettable events with exceptional services and attention to detail. Please review the following policies before booking.

Pricing

All prices listed are starting rates and are subject to change without notice. Final pricing is based on event size, rental selectins, customization, venue requirements, delivery distance, setup time and other event specific details.

Reservations

A signed rental agreement and a non refundable retainer are required to secure your event date. Dates are not guaranteed until both been received. 

Delivery, Setup and Breakdown

Delivery, setup, and breakdown are available for an additional fee based on location, accessibility, and the scope of the event. These fees may be included in some packages. Clients are responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible during scheduled delivery and pickup times.

Rental Responsibility

Clients are responsible for all rental items from the time of delivery until pickup. Lost, stolen, damaged or excessively soiled items will result in forfeiture of deposit for the repair or replacement charges at full replacement value.

Damage Deposit

A refundable security deposit will be required for rental items and will be returned after all items have been inspected and confirmed to be in their original condition.

Weather Policy

For outdoor events, Sophisticated Occasions is not responsible for weather related conditions or damages. Clients are responsible for providing appropriate shelter or and alternative indoor location when necessary.

Decor and Installation

Only Sophisticated Occasions team members may move, alter, or dismantle professional decor installations unless prior written approval has been given. Unauthorized alterations may result in additional fees.

Event Planning Services

While we work diligently to coordinate every aspect of your event, Sophisticated Occasions is not responsible for the performance, cancellations, delays, or actions or third party vendors, venues, entertainers, caterers, or suppliers.

Cancellations and Changes 

Retainers and non refundable. Event date changes and cancellations are subject to the terms outlines in your rental agreement and are based on availability. 

Photography

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Sophisticated Occasions reserves the right to photograph and or record event setups for marketing, advertising, website, and social media purposes.

Force Majeure

Sophisticated Occasion shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.
